Introduction of the pump thru safety valve
The Pump Through Rupture Disc Safety Circulating Valves with both safety function and circulating function, are used to well testing service in HPHT (high pressure and high temperature) working condition. The Pump Through Rupture Disc Safety Circulating Valves are operated by the annulus pressure. The pump thru RD safety circulating valve is functioned by increasing the applied annulus pressure so that the annulus pressure at the tool reaches a predetermined value at which point the RD will burst.
Structure of pump thru safety valve
The Pump Through Rupture Disc Safety Circulating Valves includes power section, circulating section and Safety section.
– The power section is composed of a power mandrel, an RD case, and RD. These components define an air chamber against which the total annulus pressur acts upon
-The circulating section consists of a set of annulus ports in a case that is initially sealed by the power mandrel. When the RD bursts, the power mandrel moves up.
-The safety section is the safety valve including a sleeve, flapper valve, and seat.
