CAMSIM-5 Full Scale Drilling Well Control Simulation Training System

CAMSIM-5 full size drilling simulation training system consists of an electric drilling rig operator’s console, top drive console, blowout preventer console, throttling control box, remote console, manifold system, and supporting software.

Each operation console is very similar to the real equipment on the drilling site. The layout, operation mode, and parameter display of various device panels are completely consistent with the actual product. The hardware equipment is composed of industrial grade PLC, ensuring the maximum reliability of the equipment. The system is based on advanced computer control, graphics, and network technology, using strict mathematical models and highly reliable software design methods. It can complete practical training projects such as tripping, drilling, well control, and common underground complex situations and accident handling.

In terms of expression, three-dimensional interactive animations synchronized with operating conditions can be used to present on-site scenes through single channel projection, three channel circular screen projection, large screen LCD TV, and multi screen LCD TV splicing. Combined with highly simulated on-site audio effects, it provides an immersive experience. This system is mainly used for practical training of new employees, drilling drillers/deputy drillers, drilling team technicians, drilling team leaders, and drilling supervisors.

Through the practical training of this system, trainees can master the basic drilling operation methods, commonly used drilling process flow, common accident and complex situation handling methods during the drilling process, and commonly used well shut-in and kill techniques.
